Keep Building Your Connections

Nowadays, many theories are being floated that marriage will become minimal in the future. Experts predict that except for a few traditional families, the fast paced generation may choose not to marry nor build a family of their own. Why is this happening?

Look at the frantic race that modern humans proudly call “progress.” In the midst of all this rush, we have forgotten to pause and ask ourselves ‘‘What is the true objective of my life?’’

Most of us have started believing that life is purely a competitive race. Therefore, to stay ahead, we aim and strive to travel light,  discarding responsibilities, deep bonds, and commitments as much as possible.

We have become accustomed to viewing those around us as rivals rather than as our fellow human beings or സഹജീവികള്‍.

When we view others as competitors, we avoid building friendships or genuine connections with them. There are so many around us who hesitate to acknowledge the humanity behind another person’s face.

Yet, rather than drifting along with this trend, we at Bethlehem are doing the exact opposite, because goodness never truly perishes.

Bethlehem has pioneered and implemented novel, culturally relevant, and practical ideas in the field of matrimonial services - Matrimonial Sangamams, interactive workshops, photo directories, our website, personal counseling, books designed to help navigate life’s challenges, and audio books created for those who cannot read Malayalam.

Our newest initiative is the online discussion platform “Q&A with George Uncle.” We believe this is a mission entrusted to us by the Cosmic Director Himself.

Through all of these endeavors, our singular objective is to promote this fellowship and cooperation among human beings.

When connections are genuine, the Universe paves the way!  We witnessed this truth firsthand during our inaugural Q&A session on 12th September 2026. Being our very first program, the number of participants was small. Yet, our enthusiasm remained undiminished.
When we asked one attending parent what brought him to the session, he shared that he resides out of state andjoined simply hoping to meet and talk with fellow people from his home state. Another participant soon expressed the exact same sentiment.

Right in the middle of that simple question-and-answer session, as they shared details about their jobs, locations, and life situations, a beautiful match sparked quite unexpectedly and a wonderful marriage proposal was initiated on the spot!

It was a powerful reminder for all of us.

Dear friends, let us not forget our fellow humans. They are not our competition they are the very heart of our joy. Without meaningful bonds, there is no true fulfillment, and no real enrichment.

In this fast paced race, please pause. Look around. Reach out and hold a hand.

Keep building your connections.

Marriages are made in heaven,
Some connections are made at Bethlehem,
And magic happens at ‘Q&A with George Uncle’ too.

Warm regards and prayers,
George Kadankavil
Director, Bethlehem Matrimonial
