Sangamam Lead By Bethlehem Director George Kadankavil
Finding a life partner for arranged marriage is not an easy process. The trouble for getting leave for the multiple Bridal Interviews (Formal meeting with the prospective Bride.) and it’s traveling around and the bitterness of disappointments and so on are becoming very difficult for the brides and grooms who are working in very hectic schedules and assignments at various parts of our world.
Bethlehem Vaivahika Sangamam is an exceptional forum where the girls and boys seeking arranged marriage can get together along with their parents and evaluate many proposals in one day, and meeting the candidates in person at neutral grounds eliminate the uneasy aspects of a Bride Interview.
How it works :
Bethlehem organizes the prospective brides, grooms, and the parents at the venue. After the opening formalities and ice breaking, the personal details and expectations of each candidate is announced. Participants can take note of the seemingly suitable candidates and interact with them during the following sessions.
The participating parents are divided into small groups, where they are facilitated to make self introduction and discuss a given subject. This provides an opportunity for the participants to know more about each other. The candidates are formed in to a separate group where they are facilitated for self-introduction and personal interaction with other candidates.
After the discussion the representatives of the groups narrate the summary of their discussion. These observations and recommendations are recorded and published in the periodicals for the benefit of general public. Some of these findings were instrumental and catalytic in effecting social and cultural changes in the society.
The whole exercise eventually produces a friendly ambiance for the participants to discuss their proposals at the venue.
Bethlehem has been consistently conducting Vaivahika Sangamam at various cities of India since 1998.
